Remote Control Records

Remote Control Records was established by Harvey Saward (Shock Records’ International A&R Manager for ten years) and Steve Cross (previously General Manager of a division of FMR[1]) in early 2001, with the intention of supporting under-represented music. The company provides marketing services, promotional support and label management to a roster of international and Australian artists and labels. In its first 10 years Remote Control has significantly contributed to the success of many artists in Australia and New Zealand, including The White Stripes, Adele, The National, Dirty Three, Sally Seltmann, Radiohead, The XX, Vampire Weekend, Wolf & Cub, Dizzee Rascal, M.I.A. and Interpol.
